3 large drawers in the bottom section, turned legs, fold out writing slant top; upper section has two drawers at the base and two cupboard doors above (cupboard has only one shelf the whole length) doors are panelled mohogany veneer or pine (as is the whole). the piece is in 2 sections. there seems to be a problem with caswells work in that he ran veneer grains in opposite directions from pine panels thus most of his veneered panels split.
